No-hitter spoiled in 7th inning

Ubaldo Jiminez was pitching a no-hitter for the Cleveland Indians when Toronto Blue Jays hitter Brett Lawrie hit a two-run single. No-hitters are very uncommon in Major League Baseball, and the Twitter waves heated up as Jiminez exited the sixth inning with his no-hitter intact.

Ubaldo Jiminez would be wild enough to have a no-hitter into the 7th but give up a 2-run single as his first hit. #walkthisway #MLB

That's a very encouraging start for Ubaldo Jiminez. Bummer of a no-decision though. #baseball #indians
